The 3^rd Plenary Session of the 2^nd Council Board and the 2^nd Plenary Session of the 2^nd Supervision Board of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies was held in Macao on 15^th Oct, 2008. Chairperson of Council Board She Jing took the chair, Vice-chairpersons Li Zhenji, Carlo Maria Giovanardi, Teo Eng Kiat, Dong Zhilin, Pedro Choy, Tzi Chiang Lin, David Molony, Chairperson of Supervision Board Ramon Maria Calduch, Vice-chairperson Zhou Ligao and members attended.

Vice-Chairperson and Secretary-General of WFCMS Li Zhenji gave the work report of the WFCMS Secretariat in 2008, Vice Secretary-General of WFCMS Jiang Zaizeng gave the report on New Membership, Membership Fee and Website Construction of WFCMS, Vice-Chairpersons of Council Board, Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of Supervision Board made a speech of related events of Chinese medicine in local country and region, proposals to WFCMS and how to improve the communication in member societies and between secretariat and member societies, participants discussed the revised draft for the English name of “World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies”, and then Director of Academic Department Zhu Xiaolei introduced programs of International Standardization of Chinese medicine.
