In order to honor the advanced examples that make great contribution to promoting exchange and cooperation of Chinese medicine among countries and regions worldwide, and to encourage the initiative and creativity of all institutions and professionals in Chinese medicine, we organized the appraisal process for the Wang Ding Yi Cup International Prize for Contribution to TCM according to Implementation measures of International Prize for Contribution to TCM of WFCMS. Through preliminary review, final review, and public notification, the following institutions and individual awardees are decided on:

Six winners of the Prize for International Contribution to Chinese medicine: two groups winners: TCM-Klinik Koetzting (Germany) and Division of Chinese Medicine, School of Health Sciences, RMIT University (Australia); four individuals winners: Daniel Bensky(USA), Li Lianda(China), Han Jisheng(China) and Li Guoqiao(China)

10 winners of the Prize for International Contribution to Chinese clinical medicine: seven Chinese winners: Deng Tietao, Lu Zhizheng, Ren Jixue, Shi Xuemin, Tang Youzhi, Zhou Zhongying, Liu Maocai; three overseas winners: Luo Dinghui(UK), Neo Say Hai(Singapore), Tian Xiaoming(USA)
