The Preparatory Committee of Pediatrics Specialty Committee of WFCMS will hold The Establishment Congress of Pediatrics Committee of WFCMS and 1st International Forum of TCM Pediatrics on 2nd ? 4th November 2008 in Beijing. Information regarding the papers are :
1. Topics of Papers
1) Introduction on clinical experiences of famous TCM Pediatrics Practitioners.
2) Proof results of research on clinical experiences of TCM Pediatrics in last five years.
3) Clinical experiences summary of TCM Pediatrics for Hand-foot-and-mouth diseases .
4) Demonstration on tuina technique used on Pediatrics.
5) Clinical used of Chinese patent drug on Pediatrics.
6) Introduction of the use of TCM for emergency aids on Pediatrics.
2. Requirements
1) The papers must be original and written in MS Word format. Papers are accepted only in Chinese. However, abstract in English should be provided within 300 words . The full paper must not contain more than 3000 characters. Abstract in Chinese should not be more than 300 characters . It can be either sent by e-mail or mailed to address below.
2) The qualified papers will be recommend to be published in related medical journal.
3) The closing date for submitting the papers is on 30th September 2008.

 LIU BI CHEN, Prof.
(Chairman of Pediatrics Specialty Committee of WFCMS)
Prof. Liu Bi Chen was born in Jiangsu Province, China and grew up in medical family. Since the age of 14 he started study Chinese medicine from his uncle, one of famous TCM doctors in the area. He later became the disciple of some Famous TCM doctors.
He is Lifetime Professor of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Chairman of Commentary Commission of Scientific Research Accomplishment on Pediatrics, National Administrative Bureau of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Chairman of China Advanced Education and Academic Commission of Traditional Chinese Medicine on Pediatrics.
He has been working on TCM Pediatrics for more than 60 years, his research focused on Children's difficult symptoms and diseases. Here are some of his works and accomplishments :

3. Pediatrics of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Editor in Chief

5. The Clinical Research of Myasthenia Gravis in Eye Muscles (one of the key themes of national scientific study, won the Third Prize of Scientific Research in 1991)
Because of his work on TCM pediatrics, he is honored as “Father of TCM Pediatrics” and “Great Master of Pediatrician”.
