First Round Notice of the "WFCMS Global Members Zone" at the 9th China International Import Expo
As a treasure of Chinese civilization, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is not only an outstanding representative of traditional medicine, but also an important force in promoting the building of a global community of health for all. The China International Import Expo (CIIE), sponsored by the Chinese government, is the world's first national-level expo themed on import. It has become a premier venue for the global launch of new products, the preferred destination for cutting-edge technologies, and the first choice for innovative services.
As a well-known global public good, the global influence of the CIIE has been on the rise year by year. The 8th CIIE (2025) attracted 4,108 overseas enterprises from more than 150 countries and regions, showcasing 461 representative new products, technologies, and services. The total exhibition area exceeded 430,000 square meters, with a cumulative intended transaction volume of 83.94 billion US dollars. Each session attracts over 400,000 high-intentional purchasers, and the global media exposure exceeds 6 billion views.
To promote the global development of TCM service trade, the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) will cooperate with the CIIE to organize and establish the "WFCMS Global Members Zone" for the first time during the 9th CIIE. With the theme "Global TCM · Integrative Innovation – Jointly Building a Healthy Future for Mankind", this zone will gather global TCM services, imported proprietary Chinese medicines, and digital-intelligent TCM technologies through a clustered exhibition space, building an "international business card" for global society members to enter the Chinese market.
