To promote interdisciplinary integration, drive the intelligent upgrading of the entire TCM industry chain, and enhance the international discourse power of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the 1st World Congress on Artificial Intelligence in TCM, organized by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) and hosted by Zhejiang Chinese Medical University(ZCMU), will be held from June 26 to 28, 2026 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. Currently, the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the field of TCM is in the stage of exploration and initial practice. Attempts have been made in areas such as assisted diagnosis and treatment, analysis of classical formulas, new drug development, and intelligent health preservation, showing certain development potential. This conference aims to establish an industry milestone, a global resource hub, and an industrial accelerator, building a “TCM + AI” ecosystem worth hundreds of billions. Experts, scholars, government officials, and corporate representatives from around the world will gather to share cutting-edge theories, technological achievements, implementation cases, and management policies on AI empowering TCM.
To further advance the empowerment of the entire TCM industrial chain through digital-intelligent technologies and to showcase innovative achievements in “TCM + AI,” the “Sub-forum on AI-Driven Integration of Form and Spirit in TCM and Digital-Intelligent Analysis of Chinese Materia Medica,” organized by the Jinhua Academy of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University, will be convened concurrently.
