To promote interdisciplinary integration, drive the intelligent upgrading of the entire TCM industry chain, and enhance the international discourse power of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the 1st World Congress on Artificial Intelligence in TCM, organized by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) and hosted by Zhejiang Chinese Medical University(ZCMU), will be held from June 26 to 28, 2026 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. Currently, the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the field of TCM is in the stage of exploration and initial practice. Attempts have been made in areas such as assisted diagnosis and treatment, analysis of classical formulas, new drug development, and intelligent health preservation, showing certain development potential. This conference aims to establish an industry milestone, a global resource hub, and an industrial accelerator, building a “TCM + AI” ecosystem worth hundreds of billions. Experts, scholars, government officials, and corporate representatives from around the world will gather to share cutting-edge theories, technological achievements, implementation cases, and management policies on AI empowering TCM.
A concurrent sub‑forum, the 2026 Annual Meeting of The Industrial Committee of TCM Big Data of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies & Forum on Smart Big Data in Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, will be held during the main conference. Host: The Industrial Committee of TCM Big Data of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, Peking University Chongqing Research Institute of Big Data. Co‑organizers: Department of Biostatistics, Peking University School of Public Health, Institute of Basic Research in Clinical Medicine, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, Medical Mathematics Special Committee, Chinese Mathematical Society.
